What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember your actions and preferences over time. We also use related technologies:

  • Local storage / session storage — browser storage used to keep you signed in and cache interface state
  • Pixels and tags — tiny images or scripts used to measure how features are used
  • Mobile SDK identifiers — device-level identifiers used inside the Kite mobile app

Throughout this policy, “cookies” refers to all of these.

Your choices

On our website

When you first visit, our consent banner lets you Accept all, Reject all (non-essential), or Customise by category. You can change your choice at any time via Cookie Settings in the footer.

In your browser

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in.

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies
  • Safari: Settings → Privacy
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

In the mobile app

Go to Settings → Privacy → Analytics to opt out of usage analytics. On iOS you can also decline App Tracking Transparency when prompted.

Do Not Track

Our site honours the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where your browser sends one. We do not currently respond to legacy DNT headers, as there is no agreed standard for them.

Legal basis

Where the GDPR/ePrivacy Directive applies, we set strictly necessary cookies on the basis of legitimate interests, and all other cookies only with your prior consent. Where the DPDP Act, 2023 applies, non-essential cookies are set on the basis of your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our use of cookies changes, and revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes will be signalled by re-displaying the consent banner.
